At its current price of $18, it is indeed a cheap, low-quality toy. However, I've seen worse thrusters than this one. This one actually still thrusts a little bit when encountering pressure, rather than completely stopping like other toys do. The main part is a little short, but it is meaty. The buttons are also very finicky, but they did work for me.
